Christian Affirmations: Using God's Strategies To Change Your Life

The word 'affirmation' has gotten a negative review from the Christian community. Can Christian affirmations actually be a good thing? Affirmations are a worldly idea, they say. I disagree. I believe the entire concept of affirmations came directly from the Bible. In this short article, I hope to influence you to believe that affirmations are a natural and necessary part of a successful life.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Luke 18:1-8 shows us the importance of persistence. Job 22:28 says “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you.” Romans 10:17 says “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

The more Word you speak concerning your situation, the more faith will arise. Since faith without works is dead, faith will cause you to take action. It’s acting upon your faith that causes you to get results (answered prayer). John 15:8 says God gets glory from YOU when your prayer gets answered.

Faith based Christian Affirmations has the power to change your life within a very short period of time. Most motivational speakers teach that repetition is the mother of learning, therefore, the more you speak the end of your faith, the more confidence you’ll have. Also, the greater chance that you will achieve what you’ve been saying.

Life and success are very intentional. Jesus said all power in heaven and Earth has been given to us (You). If you believe that, you are in a privileged position. You have the power to create whatever future you want for yourself.

Being a believer in Christ doesn’t suggest that God is your personal magician making things happen for you behind the scenes. You must take full responsibility for your life and learn to be proactive. The proactive person creates the type of future he/she desires. Jesus promised to give to us the desires of our hearts (Ps. 37:4). We must keep in mind however, that action is the bridge that connects the spiritual (unseen) world to the seen physical world.

Christian affirmations are important because they are taken from the goals you want to achieve. Christian Affirmations focus your mind and cause you to magnetically attract the things you confess. If you are remotely interested in taking your life, family, business, or personal relationships to the next level, positive Word based Christian affirmations must be a part of your daily routine.

It is also recommended that you use some sort of energy stimulant to make your affirmation statements more powerful. My idea of an energy stimulant is to shout my affirmations. I also listen to upbeat music and clap to the beat as I shout my affirmations. I also incorporate jogging.

Whatever works for you, continue to use. What doesn’t work, get rid of. You are in control, so be creative, and have some fun. Reciting your affirmation statements first thing in the morning is the best time. It gets your juices pumping and in a positive state of expectation. Make Word based affirmations a part of your daily routine, and watch out!
